The global resolutions are for the individual cases..as in each case having a global resolution....I would not put too much into that.
FWIW....There are two issues that strengthen...
1. 108 being ruled on early in the appeal as it was never part of the CO ruling ....adding strength to the on going cases.
2. Once the decision of 774 is resolved, if positive for e.Digital, 774 can be re-litigated on it's own....with that, a new claims construction proceeding of 774 will tilt in e.Digitals direction, without even being litigated. A new claims construction proceeding of 774, for the claims in question, will come out positive for e.Digital.
At that point, the 108 claims construction proceedings will then be strengthened to tilt in e.Digitals direction. The same will happen for other patents.
