Myself, I know how important the appeal is...
For instance you note...
"Micro - Signet / what about the prototype?"
737 and Signet issues are very much the same...tracking bad memory cells, as 737 does, by utilizing proprietary OS format methods is not dissimilar to what Signet does in tracking bad cells to form finger prints.
With that, you now see how 737, in the GOPRO case, is put on hold depending the appeal process of 774 and 108. What does GOPRO have in mind, as 737 is not part of the CE appeal process?
What happens to 737 in the event the appeal is dis-positive to e.Digital?
737 and 774 are directly patent family connected...and I feel that is why 737 is put on hold for GOPRO.
108 is not patent connected to that family, as it is a stand alone patent, however, 737, technically, is more related to 108 than 774.
This whole mess is amazing....good stuff and ideas .. however, all stuck in a quagmire.
The appeal need be positive to e.Digital or the quagmire will be there as a stumbling block for the future regarding a technical ability….. to go along with new patents(applications).
I note that e.Digital does not identify its new patents as application…however, I do, as the underlying technicals are not visible in the patents
You need both realms and that is my prospective
I invite comments to sway my thoughts…as I have been here a long time having a pretty good understanding of what e.Digital does…..technically… and how important that technical ability is.
Even when those patents run their life....they need be clear and free from encumbrance.
