To me the distance was a trial starting in April 2016--that is now off the table. Unless I am missing something, I think it would be reasonable to assume that a claims construction hearing followed by some mediation meetings would take somewhere in the range of 3-4 months. I believe that Handal does not want to settle certainly prior to a claims construction hearing and probably not before the mediation meetings. Taking THIS process to the end will get us the most money and be a bench mark for others in the future. If Dropcam agrees to a large fee or licensing contract, maybe Fred will announce it--LOL
