What HP did or did not do 28 years ago has nothing to do with what Edig is doing today. To me, patent trolls are the companies that buy up patents that others do not want and then try to extort money through the legal system. Edig has invented things that they have successfully received patents for and are trying to monetize them. If companies choose to steal instead of license we sue them. Edig will either sell or license things or they won't. The stock price will either go up or it won't. It is wise to periodically assess one's portfolio. Either you have a better use of the money or you do not. It is just not that complicated.
