Every sales person has their own way of making the sale. I never argue with those that can perform and close. If it works, then it works. The quote just left me with my jaw dropped and a sigh. Really, it is honest. But so is the line I have heard, " I want to marry you for your money." That has never gone far unless the other person has something else to bring to the relationship, a title, beauty, connections, etc.

FYI, I have heard that same kind of line on SHARK TANK and have seen the potential business partners just cringe and shake their heads. Then they explain, sometimes kindly, that they are not looking to help anyone. They are looking for someone to help them. Make money for them. Make their business stronger and richer. If they help someone, it is more like a bone they toss to the server dog after they have eaten most of the meat. They say something like we are already rich. We don't need you. You need us.

Of course one of the BOD could try to land a spot to replace someone like Mark, Barbara, Lori, etc. Then we could be tossing a few bones. http://abc.go.com/shows/shark-tank/cast
