I know several of our patents have expired and the remaining ones are due to expire(I believe) in the early part of 2016. That said, if 108 is one of the patents that is scheduled to expire in 2016 and, as Plank discovered, it appears that a child/addition has been approved, does anyone know what effect that would have on the anticipated patent expiration date? Does it expire anyway or does this new modification give it new life? For how long? I have no answers but I try to ask pertinent questions.
