"AMZN announced a platform to connect appliances to the internet,"--We have a platform called Nunchi. Microsoft was notified about Nunchi and now have their own platform, Azure. Google owns Nest, we are suing them for patent infringement. IBM is competing in the market so they too must have their own platform. Looks like prevailing in the Nest suit is critical. Immediately critical is the denial of an IPR hearing--could happen within the next month?
