Law360, New York (August 2, 2016, 9:16 PM ET) -- A group of 28 professors on Mondayurged Congress not to pass a Senate bill that would restrict where patent suits can be filed, saying it would primarily benefit large tech companies sued for infringement by shifting cases to more defendant-friendly jurisdictions outside of Texas’ Eastern District.
