Dr. Thomas Yunck

Dr. Thomas Yunck is the Founder and Chairman of GeoOptics Inc., which plans to deploy large constellations of nano-satellites for Earth environmental remote sensing. Mr. Yunck spent 25 years at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory where his work focused on developing low-cost sensors and systems for observing Earth from space. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from Yale University. In 2004 he was inducted into the Space Foundation’s Space Technology Hall of Fame.
