This really makes no sense at all ....Fred and the  board members could not find a preferred stock holder to take a position ...what the frig is going on??????

They never even tried where I think they could have found someone. No debt to speak of,  a substantial carry forward , settlements with the new patents .....especially the deal with Google what the frig is that all about... and new patents approved by the USPTO where in today's big mix-up of the freaking PTO it's super hard to get a patent.

None of this makes any sense at all
