The devil will be in the purchase order to EDIG and the manufacturing order from EDIG to Maycom. This is not EDIG`s first manufactured product, so we could ASSume they know the drill.

My little mind thinks a lot of the notices are pure posturing by EDIG to get some resolution with digEcor. Brent Wood knows EDIG`s financial condition and his company`s delay and slow response could indicate manipulation vs real manufacturing issues. We just don`t know.

Obviously, if EDIG is playing in the mudd they may not be focused on getting direct IFE business. digEcor also knows that part as well.

Per yesterday`s PR:

“...We are also responding to direct requests from individual airlines and IFE providers on eVU business opportunities...``

At face value, it sounds like multiple airlines and multiple IFE providers are interested. Thus, back to EDIG`s original business plan to provide IP for OEM production. The eVU platform seems to have legs in this closed system world if we choose to believe these contacts will turn into some unknown amount of business.

Let`s hope Willy and gang can stay out of the legal fray with digEcor and/or Maycom and stay focused on the goal --> selling enough stuff to entities who will pay enough for it to produce a profitable balance sheet for the owner`s (that would be us) quarter after quarter.

Sometimes, not always, Marketing is best described as The Art of the Doable.
