The top 100 Canadian-listed junior miners have maket caps down by two-thirds in two years. Also, financings are "in the pits", and trading volumes "paltry.

Note that the use of the word "junior" here includes both explorers and smaller producers. Therefore, if explorer's only were considered for this report, the horrible numbers shown would be much, much worse.
My point is, there are few places for mining speculators to turn, and I am confident that the market is quite hungery for a "story" stock to capture it's attention. Makes me think of a certain 100+ billion dollar opportunity is SE Arizona.
Also, and while there have been wide swings, LBSR is trading marginally below where it was two years ago in late 2011. ...not too bad by comparison, especially with multiple Asian entities expressing interest in doing a JV, and a non disclosure agreement covering part of the NPSP, and Hay Mountain progressing toward a drilling program.
