On another subject, I keep reading about how the US oil boom is doing better than some have been estimating, and just how much cheaper energy prices will be contributing to a renaissance in American manufacturing. If this is so, then it is also little appreciated how this will lead to a boom in metals prices.

I'm sure things will improve a lot faster after we get the present cluslter of economic obstructionists moved to the sidelines.
