Combining Classic Mineral Exploration with State of the Art Technology

Interesting. I am quite familiar with IMA and Aquiline. In fact, I held IMA shares for a short time until I discovered that managment was less than honest with shareholders about the existence of mining bans over "their" discovery in Chabut province, Argentina - not exploration mining bans, mining bans. Then, I spoke with the CEO of Aquiline to learn the details of their contention that IMA illegally "jumped" a claim Aquiline had rights to, and which was later supported by the courts.

Therefore, the Navidad "discovery" was not the product of "grass roots" field exploration as they claimed, nor was it available for mining in the first place. It was, in fact, an excellent vehicle for a stock promotion and it had a very large cyber-following under IMA where huge bucks were won and lost. I collected a lot of "ignore" responses at Stockhouse where I tried to warn shareholders. [Kind'a the opposite of my "moderator"-imposed bans at IHub, allegedly for posting too often off topic.]

I only bring this up because I personally would never trust another company that has any current or prior association with the principles behind IMA.

For those who don't know, Navidad includes one of the greatest silver discoveries ever, perhaps THE greatest ever, but local voters do not want mining in that part of Argentina. The ban remains, and the question of ownership has become meaningless. Pan American did acquire this property, but in buying out Aquiline, they got other properties which included advanced exploration work, and which are not under mining bans.
