While off strongly earlier today, mining indices are looking better at the moment. In fact, the COPX (copper miners) has turned green, others are off only marginally at the moment. Precious metals spot prices remain down at this writing, but are also better than they were earlier in the day.

BTW, I expect uranium prices to up at today's auctions. Just how strongly remains to be seen. I think if we see a stronger move than last week (+$1.10), the long term trend toward higher prices can be said to have resumed. We will know early Wednesday morning.
