Gee OK! Shortages of copper is just a fact. Even FeMcMo is contributing to the mounting shortages rapidly ammassing. So until Graphene High Voltage wire can be mass produced Copper is safe in spite of looming mass shortage expected thru 16-17-18-2020 and onward. However any substitute for copper will have a short supply at the Mkt for many years as the product must be Mkt tested in thousands of real world tests, tests almost inumeral, super sub zero, super high temp, high vibration lo vibration, shock, impulse, acids, pressure, humidity and so many/(many-emphasis) more! So any scare about new sub for copper, puff! Although there are verying present subs for copper in alloy with gold silver titanium and carbon fiber conductors. Most of these are not able to be as economical for most of the demanding needs of copper. So copper is likely to reign as metal King for 30-50 more years at the Mkt.

Sidebar: Graphene has its place already. Rare earth metals haven't arrived yet. Perhaps HM holds some answers for that too.
