I'm sure some would question why ASARCO seems unwilling to JV with LBSR at Hay Mountain. The answer is in the fact that ASARCO (and other major producers) are not in the business of throwing money at exploration projects, especially ones with "blind" targets. These mega companies are staffed by people wanting to keep their jobs, so they are risk averse. In other words, they want potential profits proven, before they spend a dollar to reap them.
