Interest is always a blood sucker, unless youre the lender. Sales? What does that mean? Maybe money put towards marketing? I dont think theres anything nefarious going on, although when things start going sideways fingers and imaginations follow suit. The difficulties and share price is just the nature of the beast. What is in the ground does matter but being in the ground in America may make it less of a priority. If the same metals can be found somewhere else at similar grades, it seems those areas would be pursued first. Labor is cheaper in other countries, regulations less stringent, corruption in some countries help the big companies and corps, etc (and not to mention its always better to deplete someone elses resources before you deplete your own). Obviously, it doesnt mean mines wont happen here in the US (because there are quite a bit) but I would think those are just a few reasons that play into factor, regardless of whats estimated to be in the ground. After all, if you could get the same product for a substantially lower price, which would you choose?
