Adding my "yes" as well.  That's a very nearly invisible form of dilution, just as would happen if another mining company came in as the initial funder of drilling, but for a big piece of the project. 

If a private subscription for drilling results in "discovery", that will allow us to keep a larger share of the project when a partner finally joins to complete Phase 1, and enter Phase 2 of drilling.
