What you may not know about IFlub is that it was a criminal enterprise from its beginnings.  It was designed to exploit unsophisticated investors by pumping and dumping stocks for profit and by doing so not only to the detriment of investors but to the viability of the companies involved.  While that group of people no longer exists there, their initial success caused a lot of spin-off groups operating pretty much on the same basis, but less obviously so to investigators — Google "Matthew Brown & IHub" for some history on this.

Such happens on other boards too, but IFlub was the granddaddy of them all.  In my opinion, anyone who frequents there is contributing to the furtherance of stock scams whatever their reason for going there.
