"Money and deals are plentiful*, yet LBSR, as a machine to leverage shareholder wealth, is broken without a mechanic in sight.  Why is that?  What is going on here?  Who is responsible?"

Yes. When I noted that the recent "Mr. Big- Dealmaker" thread demonstrated just how frustrated everyone is with this current excuse for management- even though I wrote "Hah"- it was without mirth or smugness. There is nothing to be pleased or happy about. It is ridiculous and a shame that, in this environment of rampant dealmaking, which you have repeatedly set out for us, we are left out in he cold while deals swirl all around us- even at our own back door. It is even more ridiculous when one considers what we have to offer. It would be different if we were struggling to foist some marginal scam-like project on potential investors. But instead- we have what we honestly believe to be- with good scientific basis- a potential world class deposit in a climate and politically friendly and (more or less) stable environment. It has been extensively and expertly studied and targeted and has historical "legs".

Indeed! What the hell is the problem with these guys? Why can they not get this going and done? That, unfortunately, is a rhetorical question. I'm afraid we all know the answer. Ironically- while being touted as the businessman-in-chief and the savior of the company- Brett Gross has thus far proven to be inept and incapable of accomplishing the very one and only thing he was supposed to achieve. Namely- a funding/JV deal to begin drilling and exploiting our Carlin Style Gold Asset. He was not needed to do further exploration nor investigations- nor even further acquisitions, although he has wasted time and money unnecessarily doing so as a time/place filler instead of getting the one thing done- the deal- that was really his only raison d'etre.

He has apparently been distracted by his various grievances leading to the idiotic, wastful and impeding lawsuits. He must also obviously be distracted by everything else he must be busy doing for his day job in Colorado. And, aside from distractions, his track record for connecting with people, promoting projects and successfully negotiating agreements- all the very business skills really needed- seem to be apparently sorely lacking at best and more likely, completely absent. It's a problem.

(And this is giving him the benefit of the doubt that his  failure to perform for the benefit of the shareholders is due to incompetence- and not a willful failure to carry out his fiduciary duty to we shareholders.)

Isn't it about time we have a full time- and competent- CEO/President?
