Putting politics aside, I must respectfully disagree with your conclusions regarding a Biden administration's effect on domestic mining activity.  In my opinion, we are most likely to see the return of an abusively powerful EPA. 

How can I say that?  Joe Biden already admitted that the Obama administration will be his model.  That is a fact, not speculation.  It means that our domestic requirements for minerals (and other things) are much more likely to be filled from imports than from our own production.  It's called, "support for our international trading partners".
