That is not how it works.

Shares were selling for around 0.0032 when suddenly they dropped to 0.0026.

What happened today is more likely that a seller came in with a number of shares and Asked for 0.0026, even though the next seller was Asking 0.0033 (or around there).  When the 0.0026 lot was filled, it jumped right back up to the next higher Ask price.

If anything, the seller that came in at 0.0026 was trying to drive the price down, not the other way around.
