I believe, that while that while all these chart projections attempt to reflect aggregate psychological responses to preceding share pricing- I'm not sure they take into account crass, outright manipulation. In a somewhat interesting exchange on the other board- they were discussing the wisdom of unnecessarily overpaying $2/share- thereby driving up the PPS- but subsequently and predictably watching the PPS then fall. Someone said "I think whoever is doing the buying is more intelligient then the Flippers here are giving credit for . . "- I guess implying that he knows something no one else does. Then Ms(anthrope)- the bizarrely longstanding obsessed LBSR critic then replies-
"How intelligent is it to way over pay for shares and then be looking at a 50% or greater loss in just days? In what known universe is that considered "intelligent"? "
Well-(my words- even though they are still highlighted)- the universe in which that would be intelligient would be this hypothetical example.-
If one knew there were no real news to support the PPS increase- it could make sense to pump up the price- then short the stock- and then watch it fall back down and then reap the profit. Sleazy- and illegal- if the trader were a company officer who knew what was going on- but - in a way- intelligient. Even better than a pump and dump. Now- I don't even know if anyone shorted LBSR here- but- that would answer the question as to "in what known universe is that considered intelligient".
I don't think those charts take that sort of thing into account.
