I'm thinking that with the oil prices per barral as high as they are, there is a huge income stream, and there may not br a rush to do this. But if Mascot Oman wants to be the tourism capitol, there would be reason to move ahead. Really, it's a done deal with everyone aboard, and only an economic down turn or problem with terrorist activity in that area would end it. The economy is good there, the housing market is coming back and turism is flurishing according to the number of tourists coming by ship or airways.
