DOC, I have not read that book. When I placed my order yesterday there were only 100 shares traded. My fill of 100 shares @ 2.30/share made it a whopping 200 for the day. After that, another 400 traded bringing the grand total to 600 shares traded on Monday.(Crushing volume).My bet is that Mr. lewis was probably not focusing on stocks that trade this thinly...But I repeat that I did not read the book. I was under the impression that the orders are filled in the order in which they are placed ( obviously once the price is met).I haven't re-placed my order to attemt to get the balance of the shares I originally wanted,simply because there is "nothin doin" with the stock as of 12:30 P.M. EST..... BILL. ... Doc, if I'm wrong about the orders being filled in the order in which they are placed---please let me know.
