However, for partners owning 15% of shares, insisting that both Syndicated Financial Agreement and $2.5bn Contract (or part of it) are in place prior to investing , looks a bit too lenient to me. Do not forget that in addition to that, DA, UA and Land Evaluation will already be in place, as well as $19mil of government investment. What could possibly go wrong for CCC even in MENA region?

At the time the deal certainly looked very good, but the problem now is that Management simply cannot afford to wait some additional 12 months for all of that to materialise. Fast Track development is in my view the only option, and if CCC does not step in and help with that, the entire enterprise is facing serious problems.

I do not think those $546,000 will suffice even for basics. Additional $5mil or so will be a game changer at this point. Initial Design Work will start, updated figures will be produced, and with that in hand, talking to banks will be a breeze.
