PORTRUSH ENTERS INTO LETTER AGREEMENT WITH RANGE (04/24/00)
Portrush Petroleum Corporation has entered into a letter agreement with Range Petroleum Corporation for the exploration and development of an additional ten Silurian reef prospects in Southwestern Ontario. Portrush will conduct seismic programs on the prospects and by drilling each prospect to a depth sufficient to evaluate the Silurian Guelph formation, may earn 50 per cent of Range's interest in the prospects. Range currently holds 100 per cent working interest in the prospects. Range will operate the program and provide Portrush with technical support. Portrush is a resource issuer active in oil and gas exploration and development.

Could this also mean Portrush may finally play hardball with Centrica.
