Not sure if you have a chance to do any ice fishing (in Las Vegas?) but the ice fishing huts on a frozen river or lake would look like those drilling structure in the video (link provided in previous post). Google "Ice fishing" and you' ll see some nice scenery of people fish and huts.

Chapeau weather for drilling? Yup, it's cold, - 25 C and feels like -32 C with wind chill, so there would be no chance for wearing bikinis...except for those who want to show off (in the Google collection). But this kind of weather is good for an extended drilling season on ice, perhaps until April? Fingers crossed.

If Dave hasn't got one, it's time to buy in for the field geo (himself?). Apparently, this hand-held analyzer is not that expensive compared to the money spent on drilling and analysis by the lab. If I were a propector or a field geo I would carry one during field trips.
