Good point Clint, demand has decreased this year ... The problem is with a recession such as this, explorations companies shut down and new reserves are not created as quickly. Demand for commodities is still high enough to push the envelope on annual production and will eventually drive commodities prices higher, it always does. China and the other BRICs will not slow down forever ... this usually happens after everything else fixes itself.
It's not going to happen tomorrow, next week or even in the next 6 months ... but it WILL happen
