Fed rate cut next week? OPEC production cut next week? COMEX Dec. gold futures last trading day is Dec. 29. Oh yeah... and don't forget about fact that US govn't now buying shares of companies on public market... this is inflationary... up until recently they were just swapping bad loans for treasuries... this was not inflationary.

US getting inflation for Christmas this year and next IMO. US dollar down... commodities up. Simple.

Will it be $1,000 by Christmas?... could be... but who knows... it it's not than it won't be long after IMO. More bullish things than bearish things in the gold world over next few months that's for sure.
