I especially believe that the selection of these properties is both for tactical and strategic reasons. These guys are finance men and dollars are tight. That means there is a reason for that move. I do not know if they will ever work any or all those properties but my gut tells me that there is a lot of angling and maneuvering being done in that area and Sage is in the middle of it. The move makes no sense for the reasons you enumerated, unless the company is laying the ground work for something else. Of course this is just an opinion but in the absense of being flies on the wall we have to try to draw up what we believe is a reasonable hypothesis. Perhaps the hint is in the operative words "strategic properties". We shall see.
