I hope you're right Kemo. As we're all aware, things always take longer than we hope for. By the time we get the permit, mobilize the drilling contractor, drill the 10,000m, and wait for the assay results, well, I hate to say it, but we are many months away, IMO. And as Silverback pointed out, if we don't get the permit until the rainy season, it's only going to slow things down. Granted you can get to site via another route, but it is much, much longer in distance. My line of work is in project mgmt - I would love to see that someone in SLI is actually managing to a schedule, but the feeling I get is that they're flying by the seat of their pants from day to day. Not surprising given SLI's tiny staff. In the end, it doesn't change the incredible potential of the Tesoro and I'm never selling my shares.....but.....just from what I've seen, I have to say that unfortunately it will be 2011 before anything really significant happens. And you already know how I feel about the risk of things dragging out......
By the way, the Paul Gray report says the EIS was submitted in August, 2010. I sure hope this was a typo and that the EIS was re-submitted in August, 2010, or you can be sure the SLI application is at the bottom of the pile, and we will be ~10 months away from approval, starting from August, 2010.
