I knew that this would spark interest on the board. I read it in today's edition of the Chronicle Herald. Keep in mind that this is not some idea pulled out of the air. The Tories had said this in one of their platforms years ago. I think the financial crisis that we just went through, put it off until possibly now. We will all know for sure, come budget day.
The general consenus is that the profits will have to be reinvested within 6 months for preventing the tiggering a capital gain. This would apply on all Capital Gains. It would be a game changer for the economy, as a whole.
Keep in mind, I said POSSIBLE...
