Medicinal, medicinal Mrs. Cramer.
I have had some experience in attitude adjustment. Cold, cold beer on a hot day is quite appropriate and superior to the Brit's warm variety. After a perhaps less than satisfying day I have found that a cool gin and tonic has several advantages. It must have lime, not only for the flavor and tradition but for the vitamin C content. I am pleased when the alcohol portion sterilizes and my stomach and give thanks to Mrs. Cramer and my doctor for the immediate cleansing and warm feeling. I am grateful and relaxed that the quinine has lessened my fear of catching the dreaded Nile fever, and no longer tremble when a bird or mosquito passes. Lots of ice and only Schweppes, cans please in case the seas are rough for my forthcoming trip to Tesoro, landing with all of you at Lima, a day there before our tour at the Tesoro Hilton.
