I may be misunderstanding what you are trying to say here, but here is my take on this.
It is my understanding, someone correct me if I am wrong, that if any results have been made available that Lori would not be able to make these moves (optioning and Splitting) as it would violate some kind of regulation.
If she has seen any "official" results and started making these moves, I belive she would be in a world of hurt and probably lose everything. I belive she is following the correct proceedure right to the letter and we should just relax and let her do what we voted her in to do.
IMO, we will see more optioning before we see any results.
This is only my take on this and if I took your post out of context then I apologize.
If someone who knows more on the regulations and proceedures could confirm, that would be great.
