CDNbigfoot,
With all due respect I think you may be underestimating the pedigree, experience and connections of some if not many of the shareholders that are heavily invested in this company. It is 100% incorrect to suggest it is her company...this is a publicly traded company...Lori is an employee of the company...no more, no less. She has been hired to act on behalf of its shareholders and in thier best interests.
I can assure you that there are at least a handful of investors that I know to have a far more impressive business pedigree than our current CEO and would be able to restructure and rebuild this company successfully, the question would be are they available to take on a new role and are they interested...You are absolutely correct that if a capable candidate is not nominated then it will be a moot point and Lori will continue on steering the ship...it is up to the shareholders to find either internally or externally an appropriate candidate and put them up for election.
As for what is happening behind closed doors in the dark...the countless decisons made in plain sight could easily be described as destructive, unprofessional, deceitful and incompetent. Many a CEO have been fired on the spot for much less without question.
I challenge anyone to point out just a few effective strategies, acts of true professionalism, acts in support of our share value, successful projects, profitable deals negotiated and realized, respectful communications, or simple acts in the best interests of our shareholders prior to losing 95% of our value...if that can't be done...is it logical to even consider longer than a moment... that somehow everything behind closed doors is all Unicorns and Butterflies...It simply is absurd.
IMO...the status quo is a road to ruin...to let it play out as "wait and see" would be a sad day indeed.
