I researched this also and came to the same conclusion. I think this letter is a fake (as it's been around for years). I believe the general idea of the content (with a grain of salt).

My take home message is that I should protect my interests and be cautious of what I believe when reading on-line opinions. Which I think is always good practice.

Pumper and bashers - I think are a by-product when social media interfaces with finance. There is a lot to gain and lose and they boards are a chance to influence others.

All in all - I am proud of this board’s ability to limit the negative "by-products".
