I expect the 45 meter interval will show a minimum of 0.5% Copper from top to bottom and in addition, there will be many small but rich vein-like stringer structures spread throughout that will indicate localized grades of up to 6% Copper, which in turn will crank up the average grade for the entire length of the hole.
Your guess is as good as mine on what the final average will be but we do have a shot at a decent grade overall - maybe a very good one that inspires popping of corks - since several adjacent holes have already turned up very rich grades in the neighborhood of 8%.
Yet being a conservative type I will be happy with about 1% on average because this lengthy intersection is *supposed to* contain lower grades according to Jim Franklin's model (see picture in my earlier post.) The model also predicts higher grade sections should sit right on top of these lower grade zones and as I pointed out earlier, SPQ has already encountered a couple of massive Copper holes at higher elevations, located in very close proximity.
On another topic I do wonder how difficult it will be for UC/SPQ to schedule the next round of drilling. From what I gather, the same driller services both NOT and SPQ, but isn't there a tendency for the company with the best hole(s) to monopolize available drill rigs?
