You can bet yer cottin pickin bank book there is. Seriously there is no doubt what -so-ever! I can now drive you to within 800 meters of the actual entrance.
The search started in 58 and continued sporatically untill the mid 90's when I concentrated on it and eventually found it without any doubt.
For the record, there are three Tayopas, the first is still hidden near Guanopa, the second is where Jim has one of his companies working near Yecora (Santa Anna). Mine is the the third and last one, the one of the legend.

Soo true, sigh. However the expense of finding and proving it are long over. I am leaving the portal closed pending certain permits from Mexico city, simply because it is a valued Patrimony of Mexico.
The French intervention in Mexico in part was based upon certain Belgium, French, and Vatican, documents regarding Tayopa. It was to play an important part in both Mexico and French financing. the French engr's had already started plans for a RR from Guaymas to my Tayopa, but they hadn't actually found it by the time that Maximillian's Empire fell.
As you can see, the story of Tayopa will easily filll two books.
Inicdentally, I am not soliciting, only sharing information with my friends in here, whom I thought might enjoy it.
