Message: i would paraphrase an answer i received from jim about drilling and assays
jim says he expects the drill to start sometime late next week as they are cleaning up
some roads and putting in a few new ones. he wants a few short holes into the
lion area.
The process is to take the core from the drill and transport it to their
compound in core boxes. The core is then logged by the Geo and cut in half.
Half will stay as evidence at the compound and half will be sent to ALS
Chemex for processing. ALS will grind the samples homogenize them ( mix them
really well ) and send a 100g sample to ALS Vancouver for analyzing. The
test takes 20 min to do but the wait time is generally 2-4 weeks, except
when they were drilling McFaulds a few years ago and things were backed up for
over two months. There is no time guaranteed, as it's best efforts.
me now... i assume the lion is the newly found leona adit which gerardo found a while back, along with drilling holes in the 2 previously mentioned mines.
so there will be a lull in news from uc i suppose for around a couple of months, also assuming the road construction goes as planned.
i can't imagine the terrain he has to work in.
quite a trooper with a goal of mucha plata y mucho oro.
i should be looking for more pop bottles.
cheers y buenas noches todo el mundo or something like that.
