Zties,
For what it's worth.... You specifically are one of the persons I thought of when I included the following in my original post: "I honestly believe there are some longs here who have only the best of intentions. I salute their conviction. I know this journey has done nothing but try their resolve."
I have only respect for your knowledge, and your conviction.
As for the remainder what was included in my post, I wouldn't change a word of it.
What matters to shareholders (i.e. ordinary investors) is the profitability of this company. Period.
Am I bitter? That is probably an understatement. And there is enough bitterness to go around. I don't believe our government does enough to protect its citizens.... this may be the case with the current level of anti-biotics in our food supply. I am also bitter about how the commercial interests of large companies affects our population. (And although outside of the scope of this discussion, I am bitter about the government's lack of regulation and oversight in the financial markets.)
There appears to be a great parallel between Agrastim and NCS. The affects upon their respective markets, as promoted by the companies' information, could be (or could have been), incredible. We still don't know why NCS failed. And because those facts have never been presented to the shareholders, I don't hold much hope that full disclosure is being planned for Agrastim.
I can't speak for others; but, I can tell you that a decreasing revenue stream doesn't say much about the commercial aspirations of this company. Besides the fact that Paul's statement about selling out the plant's production runs proved to be terribly wrong, the decrease in revenue is most disturbing. Companies developing new products should expect high expenses which are eventually offset by higher revenues. Cutting expenses will not increase shareholder value. It will take the increasing of revenue. Until those numbers are presented in a filing, there is nothing more that really needs to be said about this topic.
As for an apology, I humbly offer an apology to you for not identifying you by name as one of those shareholders and posters for whom I have the highest level of respect. No apology for any other comment in my message is deserved, at least in my opinion.
Jeff
