Despite being the defending champions, the Milwaukee Bucks have had a relatively quiet season. It is the worst net rating for a Milwaukee team since the start of the 2018 season. Despite the fact that only one (one!) Bucks lineup has logged more than 60 minutes together, injuries have prevented the team's best players from playing on the same side of the court. (The Suns, who are the best team in the NBA, have ten such lineups.) Even Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to be content with honing his dad jokes rather than attempting to win his third NBA MVP award (despite the fact that he is having arguably his best season of his professional career). Despite this, with only a handful of games remaining in the regular season and with all of the uncertainty surrounding the rest of the Eastern Conference, the Bucks are beginning to emerge as the overwhelming favorite to return to the Finals for the second consecutive season.
