It seems like the ERCB is slower lately. It may be because they are short of staff or recently, there has been a sensitivity to a lot of the "green" comments in the press.

Since they are a government agency, they are open for criticism on what they do and so I would suspect they are trying to do their job that much more diligently.

It used to be that one could call and get an idea of how things were going but I don't feel that that practice is one that they are continuing.

In fact a while back, DG asked that we not call so as not to bother them.

The ERCB will approve Algar. The approval probably requires a couple of people to sign off on it and then it will go to Edmonton to be passed by the Legislature. All of that takes about 30 days.

My best guess is the End of October now, for a complete go ahead from the ERCB (if not sooner).
