if you're referring to yesterdays high volume, it was simply due to the fact that oil spiked on Monday while the TSX was closed. Volume will continue to be low until earnings are out.In fact a quick glance at OPC and UTS also shows low volume..Oilsand plays have been slow to recover due to lower oil prices and concerns over King Obama and has cap and tax carbon plan. If earnings from ALL oil sand plays show an improvement in the 2nd quarter, then confidence in the oil sands as a viable source of energy will improve,bringing back investors and sp should improve.
