Tend to agree, but not sure what adavantage there is for Teck to delay declaring their intentions.
I can see that they may feel that they need the signed off BFS in hand to justify their actions to a wary shareholder base.
But they must be aware that CUU is using the time to build the negotiating case which can only serve to cost TECK even more.
It's not like they are dealing with a random group of holders and need to satisfy a lowest common denominator.
As Ernest pockets each bit of researched confirmation of the magnitude of this thing, his certainty and acceptable price will move up, and his strength in achieving it becomes ever more assured.
These facts have to be obvious to TECK.
