The few cents cheaper shares is significant to some - like simple folk like me. Buying at $1.25 (say) vrs $1.35 affords you 8% more shares. More shares in the end is the name of the game. For Example:

spend $1000

@ $1.25 = 800 shares

@ 1.35 = 740 shares

At a $2 buyout...(just a simple figure)

800 shares = $1600 (60% gain on the $1000)

740 = $1480 (48% gain on the $1000).

At a $4 buyout...

800 shars = $3200 (320% gain on the $1000)

740 shares = $2960 (296% gain on the $1000)

I'm pretty cheap too... I waited 2 hrs in a ferry lineup to save the $20 reservation fee LOL!
