Many of the new posters may not know, and some longs may need a quick "oh yaaaa" moment. Why is the SP at $1.04? Well EE and the insiders hold about what...65% of the shares. The longs in addition hold another 5-10% i think. That leaves around 25-30% of the shares to be actively traded. Because the MM's cannot and have not been part of the private placements because of the "Bank of Ernesto" they chissle away, grab shares where and when they can.

You could almost consider CUU a private company since one man controls the eventual outcome. Those that feel CUU will be wiped out at a 40-60% premium can think that all they want...I however believe that the premium will be well above those levels in relation to the current SP. Remember, the MM's have very little to no skin in this game so why would they cover CUU! They cant put a "BUY" or "HOLD" or "SELL" on this stock...all they could really say is "we dont know since we dont cover CUU" or "it's on our radar".

If the liquidity event occurs, it will be beneficial for both CUU and Teck, and IMO will not go for a massive premium, nor will we get the "schaft". It will be a fair price in relation to pounds and future prospect.

Cheers,
