CUU own 25% Schaft Creek: proven/probable min. reserves/940.8m tonnes = 0.27% copper, 0.19 g/t gold, 0.018% moly and 1.72 g/t silver containing: 5.6b lbs copper, 5.8m ounces gold, 363.5m lbs moly and 51.7m ounces silver; (Recoverable CuEq 0.46%)
For whom do you work?
I work for a Canadian company that would dwarf Teck - Canadian Pacific Railway as a locomotive engineer out of Coquitlam BC. A blue collar position, not Investor Relations.
The company takes pride in keeping all employees abreast of future directions, major projects, contracts, and aquisitions though company newsletters, employee website, and more. Maybe Teck doesn't operate that way?
You may very well be 100% right and I 100% wrong.
Personally, I am of the view that the projects that Don and other company officials talk openly about are actually their priority. If they openly say we are considering getting into iron ore or energy, it seems to me that these are their priorities. It doesn't say to me that if it isn't mentioned they are not interested, just not a 'must have' or 'make or break' project.
