Some good sleuthing Vette. I was half thinking that they would call the Az companies "Copper Cactus" (wink)

I've been trying to navigate Arizona's tenure info system or... should I say... the lack thereof. I thought BC's system was a bit onerous but the Arizona system is an excercise in chasing one's tail. Anyone have more luck with that? The "geocommunicator" system seems to show most things except tenures/claims. Despite its name, the "mining claims" link at the top right of the page takes you to two seperate Az websites but no info on any claims whatsoever.

Folks who want to play with the Geocommunicator... Sombrero Butte is NE of Tucson, SE of Phoenix, and just NE of San Manuel. Look for the squiggly SB butte (a small flat topped mountain with very steep sides or cliffs). I think it is the only butte in the NE area Lat/Long: 32.70126 , -110.430138
